Pork Teriyaki

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 40 ml medium sherry
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp five spice
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • A pork tenderloin

Method

  1. This is so easy! Put all the ingredients (bar the pork) in a bowl and mix.
  2. Cut the pork in to big chunks and put in a sealable bag, pour in the sauce and leave to marinade over night.
  3. When ready to cook you can either fry the pork or, for a healthier option lay the pieces on a wire rack over a grill pan and cook in a hot oven (200°C) for around 45 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle over some chopped coriander and serve with either boiled rice or vegetable noodles. Yum!
